Liquid water curtain booths
Euroimpianti designs and builds liquid water curtain booths which can be integrated into all our complete systems or in existing coating lines.
The liquid water curtain booths are made up of a structure of carbon steel sheet panels, or of press-formed stainless steel panels which create a chamber with a water curtain in its front wall. The floor is made of powder coated steel grates under which paint-stop filters are installed in order to trap the overspray created during the coating operation.
Electric exhausters may be installed on the booth casing, in order to extract the air and vapours generated inside the booth.
The slides in the filter unit are powered by natural water drop from one of the tanks placed above. The water drop occurs by means of a recirculation pump in the lower collection tank.
This way, continuous water curtains are created to guarantee the first removal of paint particles mixed with air.
The extraction occurs thanks to centrifugal fans at the top of the filter units, which have suitable dimensions that guarantee ideal water speed in the booth.
The dry liquid booths can be integrated into complete continuous or manual coating systems.
In the latter case, one or more ceiling guides may be used to hang the pieces to be treated on customised swing trays.
The booth smooth steel surface guarantees easy cleaning of the work area, and the Atex approved lamps, guarantee the operator to have perfect lighting and visibility. In the end, the extracted air passes through fibreglass filters - which are easy to remove and maintain – and is exhausted outside, in full compliance with environmental standards.
