Monorail conveyors
Euroimpianti performs in-house designing and manufacturing of various types of overhead mono-rail conveyors, suitable to transport various kinds of products, whether light or heavy. In accordance with the types of the pieces to be handled and the type of load you have chosen, we shall advise you about the most suitable roll to meet your needs.

The handling is performed by means of a jointed chain that runs inside the press-formed sheet rails which are reinforced with stiffening plates. The joining of the straight and curvilinear segments makes it possible to create all kinds of paths that can meet all customer’s needs.
The chain, jointed in two orthogonal points, offers great freedom of articulation on horizontal curves up to 270° and on vertical curves up to 45°, as well as small curvature radiuses, whenever needed.
The conveyors can be overhead or floor-standing: in the former case, the chain runs above the ground and is supported by suspensions based fixed to the floor or to the ceiling, if possible; in the latter case, the conveyor can either run above the floor or be buried.
As can be seen in the side table, we propose 3 standard types of chains which differ in the bearing diameter and in the carrying capacity per linear meter. This way the chains range between 80 kg/m for roller chain 37, and 150 kg/m for roller 45, up to 250 kg/m for roller 52.
It is possible to connect the chain to different types of hanging hooks which take the shape of plates of customised swing trays used in conveying all different kinds of products. In fact, it is possible to use fixed or rotating hooks to facilitate the finish of the products during the surface treatment and coating phases. The rotation may be at 90° fixed step movement, or continuous movement. In case of excessively large size loads, the joints can be interconnected by means of bars in order to guarantee uniform distribution of loads.
Particular attention is paid to the design of the conveyor rail supports. In case of high temperature, in particular, special devices allow the rails to expand inside the oven and permit the conveyor to be independent from the oven structure.
A motor-driven caterpillar controlled by an inverter, guarantees a smooth pulling and constant movement of the products to be conveyed. The speed can be easily adjusted from the electrical panel, in accordance with the production capacity to be reached.
The system is equipped with automatic cleaning, blowing, and lubrication devices which keep the chain in perfect condition over time, and guarantee its correct functioning even in high temperature.
Continuous cycles along the conveyor path and in correspondence with the personnel work area, are provided with stop mushroom push-buttons that interrupt the chain movement. Breaking plugs are used in the caterpillar transmission to interrupt the motion if something stops the chain from running.
