The cycle is fully automatic and requires the presence of few people, only in the handling of pieces in the loading/unloading area and in the painting booth, thanks to the automatic step by step movimentation.

- Pre-treatment tunnel
The Euro CAR pre-treatment tunnel is essential for ensuring perfect piece quality before it under-goes painting operations.
Several stages of treatment can be performed in succession according to the type of material and the quality required; the Euro CAR modular system is able to handle any requirements using both conventional cycles, or highly innovative cutting edge cycles using nanotechnology. Since the company has focused
strongly on providing maximum energy saving and the lowest possible environmental impact, Euroimpianti has designed their “Control power system“, a special high performance heating system for the Euro CAR tunnel treatment water. The Euro CAR tunnel is also fitted with a special self-cleaning filter called “Easy clean“.
This filter reduces cleaning maintenance of treatment tanks and spray nozzles to a minimum, to guarantee longer bath life thus eliminating the need for frequent equipment dead-times.
All Euro CAR tunnels are equipped with a reverse-flow waterfall system for water recovery. Water is recycled to supply the heated treatment tanks providing considerable energy savings supplied by the water, heat and chemical products.
- Drying and curing batch oven
Euroimpianti has focused strongly on providing maximum energy savings and the lowest possible environmental impact when designing its equipment. This has led to the design of their line of
Euro CAR drying and curing ovens. These are equipped with an independent heating system with separately adjustable temperature and ventilation control. Special care and attention has been focused on the special insulation of the panels for the Euro CAR
ovens. The project design and the special modular construction are carried out with extreme care in the company production department.
The fully insulated furnace works with its doors shut, and therefore power consumption is very low.
All furnaces are provided with motorized insulated doors, that are perfectly shut and can be opened simultaneously only for the time required to load or unload the pieces, during the translation stage, based on the conveyor speed at the end of the cycle.
An indirect exchange system is installed for air heating, which is more cost-effective and safer than the old direct exchange system (more difficult to handle, owing to finishing problems, and more dangerous for the working environment).
Euroimpianti has installed a special ventilation system along the total length of the oven to guarantee uniform heat distribution from start to finish, as well as providing a top to bottom homogeneous temperature on the parts to be sprayed.
Temperatures in the drying and curing ovens are controlled and monitored constantly through a Touch screen control panel. Should any faults occur, alarms are triggered immediately for rapid intervention.
- Painting booth
After pre-treatment, the item enters a painting booth, where it is coated with a f lm of powder paint. One or more operators carry out painting operations in manual mode, by means of electrostatic guns, in a closed room, where balanced air ventilation is nevertheless provided.
The air sucked from the outside is injected in a filter distributor positioned on the ceiling.
The filtered air moves down vertically towards the floor, and thus touches both the operator and the piece. Paint pigments are conveyed to the suction area on the floor.
An exhaust unit collects the powder residues that are not glued on the pieces and, once these residues have been treated by a cartridge filtering system, exhausts the air outside.
The operators work in a comfortable room and can apply also more paints at a time, since powders are not recovered.
- Step by step conveyor
Designed to treat any type of items, Euroimpianti can manufacture, at its factory, different types of overhead conveyors, which make it possible to hook and convey a variety of items, either light or particularly heavy.
A suspended tray conveyor system makes it possible to hook the pieces to be painted according to the available dimensions or manual painting operations.
Manufactured in three versions for light, average and heavy loads, it can translate the pieces in automatic mode and makes it possible to carry out the different processing stages with the pieces stopped.
Motorized caterpillar systems, electronically controlled by an inverter, ensure unimpeded translation speed of the pieces from one stage to another of the painting cycle.
The system is equipped with automatic cleaning, blowing, and lubrication systems that maintain the transport chain in perfect condition for long periods, and that guarantee smooth operation even at high temperatures.
- Control panel
A touch screen monitor on the PLC controlled Euro CAR panel makes operations easier, permitting the operator to control the whole painting system automatically with extreme simplicity.
The software reduces energy consumption considerably by optimizing switch-on and switch-off in the various areas of the system.
This also provides the possibility to continuously monitor work times, temperature graphics, alarm messages, etc.
In addition, it is also possible to connect the control panel to a pc installed with software for Quality Control Supervision of all painted
products, together with recording and print-out of all data necessary for the Quality System.
